Coal Ireland

Stafford Fuels have been importing Coal into Ireland since the early 1900’s, and Polish Coal since the 1950’s.

Now, generations on, the Company is still in existence importing Coal through our dedicated coal packing facility in New Ross Port.

Through our new Ross base we distribute a full range of Smokeless coals, as well as traditional coals, throughout the island of Ireland.

Supply is guaranteed to our customers and to ensure this commitment Stafford Fuels start every heating season with up to 30,000 tonnes of palletised product, i.e. 750,000 bags filled and on the ground at New Ross for supply nationwide. No other Importer of Solid Fuels, either in Ireland or indeed the UK, carry such bagged stock in one single location.
